Project Description

Patch Landscape Architecture is leading the redesign of Anna T. Jordan Community Park, one of the largest parks in Baton Rouge. Leading a team of civil, structural, and mechanical engineers, Patch has developed a comprehensive master plan and construction documents for Phase 1, an estimated $2 million scope of work. Key elements include an innovative 80-foot-wide land bridge, designed to connect two previously disconnected sides of the park across a creek, as well as a new event lawn atop the bridge. Additional features include playground design, stormwater management, pathways, lighting, earthworks, and a performance stage. This transformative project will enhance connectivity and create a more cohesive and functional park for the historically under served community.
