Project Description

As project manager and landscape architect at Manning Architects, Patrick developed a plan for Sharp Quad, which is adjacent to McAalister Auditorium and Sharp Hall on the campus of Tulane University. The project accommodates student activities in support of the existing sand volleyball court, including an outdoor cooking and dining courtyard, a sunning lawn, and an additional courtyard for student gathering. The project also adds additional bicycle parking for students that live in nearby housing. Infiltration gardens were used to manage stormwater to alleviate existing drainage issues, and minimize stress on the campus drainage infrastructure.
